Organize news and information, that describes the benefits of living
in a healthy environment. Incubate green businesses that provide economic opportunities for locals. Develop replicable, on-site
models for appropriate development in the following areas:

Meet Basic Human Needs
Bring community members together to better understand each other and use shared values to create a vision for our future.

Food Security
Develop a food security strategy that provides direct community access to an enhanced local food supply in the event outside food supplies are cut off.

Personal Health
Establish health maintenance and monitoring programs that focus on prevention/lifestyle and reduce dependence on traditional health insurance.

Affordable Housing
Develop an inventory of housing models, materials and systems that are appropriate to our island and available for people of medium and low income.

Energy Security
Provide 100% of our energy from local renewable sources.

Water Independence
Develop strategies and policies that conserve water and provide access to local water supplies.

Waste Management
Establish programs that maximize reduce, reuse, and recycling processes.
